Amber® Vest is an ultra fine phosphate bound investment for the pressable ceramics, helping your work be more effective.

Contains: 1,000mL liquid - No powder

Stable outcomes & Time saving

Since Amber Vest prevents from forming reaction layer on results, there is no need for sandblasting.
This invites no need to apply the acid liquid for clean-up of the reaction layer ensuring a simple and nonhazardous process.

*Amber Vest is for glass ceramics, metal and gold.

Amber® Vest is an ultra fine phosphate bound material for pressable ceramics. According to ISO 15912:2016, the classification of the product is Type 1 Class 2. This material contains quartz. DO NOT INHALE THE POWDER!

Working Conditions

As with all phosphatic materials, the storage and preparation is crucial to the results.The optimal preparation and storage temperature is 68-72°F (20-22°C). Any variation from the suggested temperature may affect the behavior of the product.

Liquid Preparation

Concentration of mixing liquid
Inlays :: Liquid (EXPANSOR-B) 50% +Distilled water 50%
Veneers :: Liquid (EXPANSOR-B) 60% +Distilled water 40%
Crowns :: Liquid (EXPANSOR-B) 70% +Distilled water 30%

IMPORTANT: Amber® Vest must always be used with its special mixing liquid EXPANSOR-B, pure or diluted. The dilutions can be effected by adding distilled or demineralised water, shaking slightly and then applying to the bottle an identifying label of the concentration made. (DO NOT USE EXPANSOR-B LIQUID WHICH HAS BEEN FROZEN AS IT BECOMES CRYSTALLIZED)

Mixing Proportion

To obtain good results, it is essential to use precise measurements. For ease of use to the consumer, Amber® Vest is supplied in premeasured sachets of 100g, and a dosing tube for the liquid. It is always recommended to use whole sachets and to measure the liquid with the original dosing tube.

*The powder liquid ratio 100g powder/26 ml liquid

Mixing

Prepare the liquid EXPANSOR-B according to the concentration required (as indicated above)

  1. Add the powder to the liquid and mix vigorously by hand to obtain a totally moist and uniform mass
  2. Then pass to mechanical vacuum mixing for 60 seconds depending on the mixer

FILLING THE CYLINDER

Before filling the cylinder, apply a degreasing agent or wax cleaner with a spray or a brush uniformly and dry for a few seconds. It may allow a better adherence and flows of the mixture. When the mixing time is completed, fill the cylinder, vibrating gently, for 10-15 seconds, then stop

WORKING TIME

6-7 minutes @ 68-72°F (20-22°C) from the moment that powder and liquid contact. The working time can be reduced:

  1. When the liquid is at a higher temperature
  2. With ambient temperatures above 22 °C
  3. With the use of contaminated utensil

BURNOUT

Concentration of mixing liquid wax ignition can lead to the cracking of equipment. Place the cylinders inclined or over investment plates. Never place them directly on the oven base.

WARNING :

Before placing the mixture in the furnace, scrape the upper surface of the cylinder to allow the gases to escape. Ensure the spout points downwards when in the furnace. In the case of multiple cylinders, avoid any contact of the cylinders. Due to the aggressive melting of the wax, do not open the furnace for the first 15 minutes of heating.

Rapid burnout:

  1. After 20 minutes from the filling of the cylinders, place them in the oven at temperature of 850 °C maximum.

Standard burnout:

  1. Place the cylinder in the furnace after the setting
  2. Dry at 250 °C for 40 minutes
  3. Heat up at 7 °C / min. to the pressing temperature

Keep the cylinder at the final temperature for:

1 x 25 min.

3 x 35 min.

6 x 45 min.

9 x 60 min.

After the pressing has been completed, bench-cool the ring to room temperature. Do not quench in cold water!!
