Dreve Kombiplast Soft/Hard Splint

Dreve Kombiplast is a dual-layer thermoforming material used in the Drufomat to made custom bit splints, night guards, and appliances for bruxism.

2mm - 1:1 soft to hard ratio / 3mm - 1.5:1.5 soft to hard ratio / 4mm - 1:3 soft to hard ratio

Use Kombiplast for:

• Bruxism splints to protect teeth from nighttime jaw clenching and grinding
• Relaxation and comfort appliances to relieve joint and muscle pressure
• Anti-snoring devices to keep airways open during sleep

Key Features:

• Two-layer material that combines rigid exterior with cushioned interior
• Bonds with acrylate for individual adjustments
• PETG outer layer: A hard, transparent plastic that withstands heavy teeth grinding and structural wear. It also easily bonds with dental acrylics if a technician needs to make custom adjustments or add bite ramps
• EVA inner layer:  A soft, rubbery lining that rests directly against the teeth to absorb shock, ease pressure, and provide a comfortable, retentive grip without metal clasps.
