Amann Girrbach SPLITEX - TRANSFER STAND

Used for safe transport of the facebow registration to the lab. The universal joint with bite fork is removed from the facebow and inserted into the reception of the transfer stand. There, the registration is fixed in plaster. The detachable transfer table safely and unshakeably takes this important patient information to the lab.

How it works:

• Capture: The Artex facebow (#218600) is used by the clinician to record the exact position of the patient's upper jaw in relation to the cranial axis.
• Transfer: The bite fork is removed from the facebow and is the mounted to the transfer stand and fixed in plaster
• Transport: The magnetic transfer table is removed from the stand and then transported to the dental lab
• Mounting: At the lab, the magnetic table is snapped into the Artex articulator, allowing the lab to precisely align the patient's models without loss of spatial orientation.

Why it's important: This system prevents shifting during transit, minimizes manual guesswork, and drastically reduces the need to grind down crowns or dentures on the patient.
